What are Divisions, Regions, and Districts?
Divisions: Each district is divided into territories called divisions, made up of various clubs. Within a division there are 5-15 clubs, in which each division is then assigned a number, a mascot, and a color. Each Key Club division is led by a lieutenant governor (LTG), a student leader who carries out the district’s policies and provides support to the clubs. Each division has their own mascot and call.
Regions: A region is a collection of 4-8 divisions (determined by the area), who mainly plan collaborative events that lead to even more connections. Within the region, Divisions and LTGs work together to connect individual high schools into the the larger district. Regions hold many annual events such as Region Beach Cleanup and Region Night Market.
Districts: A district is sometimes defined by one or several states or by nation and tends to correspond to a similar Kiwanis district. Each Key Club district is chaired by a governor elected by delegates at the annual district convention.
